Climate Adaptation Grant Competition 2009

The World Bank's Development Marketplace has chosen the theme of 'Climate Adaptation' under its 2009 Grant Competition* and it addresses the three sub-themes of 'Resilience of Indigenous Peoples Communities to Climate Risks, Climate Risk Management with Multiple Benefits' and 'Climate Adaptation and Disaster Risk Management.' NGOs can apply to the grant competition either invidividually or in partnership with other organizations.

As usual, the Development Marketplace will shortlist the NGOs out of the total applications received. The shortlisted applicants will be invited at the Marketplace to present their ideas. Here, there will be selected through a jury process and grants would be awarded for the implementation of the ideas.
