The Belgium-based Ghent University is inviting applications under its "UGent call for applications for Master grants for candidates from developing countries 2009-2010." The scholarship is available to carry out the Master's Program as well as Master's after Master's Program at the university. The application requires proof of admission at the university. The subjects under which the applicant can apply are available at this link. The scholarship is available for full two years of the duration of the Master's Program. "The scholarship consists of an allowance of € 964 per month and the yearly tuition fee with a maximum of 80€. In case of increased tuition fee for the master’s programme, Ghent University will only reimburse the refundable part." Airline ticket and visa costs will be the responsibility of the students."

New Zealand Development Scholarship Scheme
New Zealand Development Scholarship Scheme offers opportunities for individuals from developing countries to undertake studies on development-related studies in New Zealand. The scholarships cover full-time, tertiary level education for individuals. Subjects can include the following:
* Education
* Health
* Rural Livelihoods
* Governance
* Human Rights
* Economic Development
There are two main categories in the Scheme, namely, New Zealand Development Scholarships - Public Category (NZDS-Public) and New Zealand Development Scholarships - Open Category (NZDS-Open). NZDS-Public, as a bilateral scheme, is available for individuals in selected partner countries of Southeast Asia and Pacific. Applicants can be from the private sector as well as the civil society depending upon the country's human resource development training needs. The non-bilateral NZDS-Open is open some developing countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Pacific and individuals from civil society and the private sector can apply for it. The last date for submitting applications depends upon the University's deadline for receiving applications. The University deadlines begin from May 2009.
