Disability Rights Fund

Disability Persons' Organizations from India, Mexico and Ukraine are invited by the Disability Rights Fund to submit applicants for grants under the project objective of participating in the ratification, implementation and monitoring of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CPRD).

This call is part of the first round of grantmaking and next call would be made in July 2009 for other countries. Proposals can be submitted under the themes of advocacy, inclusion and skill development of Disability Persons' Organizations. Proposals can be submitted as part of a partnership or even a national-level coalition of Disability Persons' Organizations. For single and partnership-based organizations, funding limit ranges between US $5000 and US $30,000 and for national coalitions, the range is between US $30,000 and US $70,000.
